Hello lovely humans, Jessica here, CEO and founder of Elevana Wellness, where modern science meets mindful living through breathwork, yoga, and Reiki.
Think of this space as your sanctuary for vibeology, my favorite way to describe the study of how biology, emotion, and energy all intertwine. When your energy flows freely, life feels abundant and inspired. When it becomes blocked or scattered, even the smallest things can feel heavy and dull.
Let’s explore five signs your energy might be out of balance — and a few simple ways to bring yourself back to harmony, right from home.
1. You’re breathing, but not really breathing
When stress creeps in, your breath becomes shallow and quick. It’s your body’s ancient alarm system kicking in.
Try this:
🌬️ Box Breathing. Inhale for four counts, hold for four, exhale for four, and hold again for four. Repeat four to five times. This gentle rhythm helps lower cortisol, steadies your heart rate, and tells your brain that you are safe.
Vibeology tip: Add a small smile while you breathe. This simple shift changes your brain chemistry and helps your body relax.
2. You’re doing everything right, but still feel drained
You might be eating well, exercising, and getting rest, yet still feel low on energy. That often means your energetic system needs as much care as your physical one.
Try this:
⚡ Mini energy reset. Sit quietly, close your eyes, and take a slow, deep breath. As you exhale, imagine clearing away the mental clutter of the day. This pause allows your body’s rest and repair mode to activate and helps you recharge.
When you need a deeper renewal, a Reiki or breathwork session can help release the unseen tension that daily habits alone cannot reach.
3. Your sleep just will not cooperate
You are tired, but your mind keeps replaying your to-do list. When your nervous system stays in high alert mode, deep rest can be hard to find.
Try this:
🌙 Legs Up the Wall. Lie on your back and rest your legs against a wall or headboard for ten minutes. This gentle position encourages circulation, lowers your heart rate, and signals to your body that it is time to unwind.
If your mind still feels busy, try Yoga Nidra before bed. This guided relaxation practice soothes your nervous system and promotes restorative rest.
4. You feel unmotivated or uninspired
When energy flow slows down, motivation tends to fade with it. This is not a lack of willpower. It is simply your body asking for oxygen and movement.
Try this:
🔥 Power Breath and Shake Out. Stand tall, inhale deeply, and exhale through your mouth with a strong “ha” sound. Do this five times, then gently shake out your hands, arms, and legs as if releasing tension.
This simple reset increases oxygen, boosts endorphins, and brings clarity to your mind. Even a few minutes of mindful movement can remind your system that it is safe and capable.
5. You feel overwhelmed and cannot find your center
Your mind races, your body feels tense, and everything seems like too much. This is a classic sign that your energy is scattered.
Try this:
🌿 Grounding Breath. Sit or stand with your feet on the floor. Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, imagine any excess energy flowing down into the ground. Feel the steadiness beneath you and allow your body to soften.
It’s simple, subtle, and surprisingly powerful that your body knows how to calm itself when given permission.
The Art and Science of Harmony
Energy balance is not about perfection. It’s biology, breath, and presence working together in your favor. When your energy flows smoothly, life feels luxurious — not because it’s fancy, but because it’s aligned.
At Elevana Wellness, we specialize in helping you reconnect with that flow through breathwork, yoga, and Reiki. Each session combines scientific understanding with nurturing presence to help you feel restored, focused, and fully alive.
Take a breath, check your vibe, and remember: you are your own best source of harmony, we just help you find your frequency again.
